Hotel Arcadeon impresses with a stylish mix of modernity and cosiness
“If you want something new, you have to want it all.” - Claudia and Jörg Bachmann have renovated the Hotel Arcadeon in Hagen, Westphalia, according to this motto. The house was built in 1998 and underwent a general overhaul in 2016. The hotelier couple bravely reinvented the entire hotel and immortalised their own style in the brick building. There was no interior designer, but an exceptionally successful collaboration with designer Emell Gök Che. The result is a holistic concept that combines design, colours, light, music and atmosphere like no other hotel in the region.
The loving selection of products and materials can be felt in every corner of the Arcadeon. Exceptional combinations and high-quality individual pieces add a personal touch to any guest room, seminar room or bathroom. The rooms should have a surprising effect, but also radiate authenticity. Trendy and contemporary, yet cosy and appealing. For Jörg Bachmann, who placed great importance on local products and service providers during the renovation, there was therefore only one option when choosing the fittings and accessories for the high-quality bathrooms: “Only KEUCO products were considered for our modern and elegant design.”
In the showers of the 80 rooms and two suites, guests can enjoy the innovative IXMO fittings from KEUCO. The special thing about IXMO: The minimalist design of the fittings combines multiple functions in the smallest of spaces. This provides a clear and tidy picture in the showers in the Arcadeon. Hotel guests particularly like IXMO SOLO, the clever combination of a single-lever mixer tap and wall outlet for shower hoses in just one module. “At last, a fitting that every guest immediately understands,” confirms the hotelier.
The washbasins adorn the EDITION 400 fittings, which stand out elegantly with their slim, organic design. The filigree elegance is underlined by brilliant chrome surfaces, whose value immediately catches the eye and ensure style and aesthetics in the bathroom.

The Hotel Arcadeon calls itself the “House of Business and Education” and is appreciated by companies from the region for its spacious and exceptionally designed seminar rooms. An extensive range of services not only attracts overnight guests or seminar participants to the restaurant areas of the house. Rather, Hotel Arcadeon has also established itself as the “Hagens Living Room” for guests from the surrounding cities.
