A floor plan with plenty of room for creativity
“Our company should be adaptable and support us in developing rather than restricting ourselves” - according to this credo, the Dipl. Interior designer Wiebke Rütters realised her own living dream and had a new building in Bauhaus style built in-house. Form follows function - the guiding principle of Bauhaus has become an important aspect of planning. The design gives the family the opportunity for change and room for creativity. On the one hand, generous surfaces and an airy interior characterise the functionality of the house, while selected materials and design elements lend the whole sensuality. “Thanks to the excellent functionality of the room layout and the furniture with potential for redesign, my family and I can experience a harmonious everyday adventure,” says Wiebke Rütters.

In addition to the possibility of creative change, the sustainability of the building was an important aspect. The energy is extracted from geothermal energy, for example, and thanks to an integrated BUS system, the smart home is perfectly equipped for the future. High-quality and, above all, durable products were also chosen for the interior design. For example, the bathrooms use EDITION 400 chrome-plated fittings from KEUCO. They integrate perfectly into the modern, understated interior design, yet still provide the highlight at the washbasin. Wiebke Rütter’s many years of experience, which she also gained from Matteo Thun in Milan, has sharpened her focus on individual aesthetics in the bathroom, while at the same time offering high functionality and quality. They were impressed by the high-quality workmanship and special design of the KEUCO mixer fittings.
The bathroom is one of the most beautiful rooms in the house for the interior designer and her family. This is where they spend important hours, greet and end the day: “The large window front seems to dissolve the boundaries in the garden and nature, and the bathroom is also constantly re-scened by the unique play of light and shadow.”
With a great deal of attention to detail, a meaningful combination of function and design as well as a stylish selection of materials and products, interior designer Wiebke Rütters has made her personal living dream come true.
