Functionality redefined: Technically, developing IXMO was a challenge because the combined functions of the modules had to be compressed into the smallest of spaces.
This doesn’t just include the functions the fittings themselves offer, but also all of the innovative features that make them so convenient and reliable to install. Viewed from the outside, the complexity of the interiors of the filigree fittings isn’t apparent.

IXMO integrates numerous innovative features to ensure easy and reliable installation. Included, for example, are new features for precise alignment of the fittings, the integrated mechanism for swapped water lines for the thermostat, and the intelligent depth compensator for projection in front of the wall.
MORE INSTALLATION INTELLIGENCE
To make work easier for the professional installer, an installation depth of anywhere from 80 to 110 mm can be achieved for showers and bathtubs with the help of the IXMO fittings' intelligent depth compensation feature. The projection distance from the wall is always exactly 80 mm.
For the washbasin fitting, the depth compensation feature is variable from 70 mm to 100 mm. Available to choose from are three projections of 187, 219 and 265 mm.
Intelligent installation details
For KEUCO, good design also already takes into account the installation of the modules. Intelligent details transform the installation process into an easy exercise in any room conditions. In cases where the water lines are swapped in the bathroom, no additional adapter need be acquired. Because IXMO thermostats have an integrated solution, where the components can be simply swapped in the base unit.
A special mounting rail makes precise alignment of the fittings easier. It can be positioned horizontally or vertically. The installation units can be shifted to any position on the rail and fixed in place with the screws.
Brilliant in front of and behind the wall
The special thing about the IXMO SOLO module is its small and uniform dimensions. It always projects out exactly 90 mm from the wall. The diameter or the edge length in the round or rectangular decor disc alternatives is also 90 mm.
The in-wall installation unit can be installed without difficulty in thin walls or during subsequent modernisation work. What makes this possible is the minimum installation depth of 65 mm. And thanks to the intelligent depth-compensation feature, it can be flexibly adjusted by any amount from 65 to 95 mm.
Reduction
Minimalism means eliminating the unnecessary. That is precisely the IXMO concept.
A fitting combines single-lever mixer with hose connection in only one module: The result is more design freedom in the bathroom and considerably less installation work, since there is only one water-conducting element on the wall. The minimalistic approach of IXMO sets new standards in bathroom design.
Minimalist sensation
In the KEUCO philosophy product design isn’t just about aesthetics. The standard itself is holistic: Create a design icon while adding relevant improvements to a product at the same time.
To produce IXMO_solo the underlying IXMO principle was radically applied: It is simply impossible to combine the separate functions any further to achieve more reduction.
Less installation effort
The IXMO_solo thermostat convinces with small and uniform dimensions. The fixed projection in front of the wall is exactly 100 mm. The diameter or edge length of the optionally round or square rosettes is also 90 mm.
The flush-mounted unit can be easily installed in thin walls or during retrofitting. Thanks to intelligent depth compensation, the installation depth can be infinitely adjusted from 65 to 95 mm.

Exceptional fastening by bonding for IXMO shower rails from KEUCO
In addition to typical installation with drilling, for some products KEUCO also offers fastening with bonding. Effective immediately even the IXMO shower rail can be installed using a special adhesive on many smooth and rough surfaces, completely without any drilling. No drill holes and dirt are produced in the process and disassembly is possible without any residue.
